Our approach to Estate Planning encompasses all our services, to ensure you receive maximum protection and peace of mind. This may include Will writing, updating your current Will, or creating Lasting Power of Attorneys. Our aim is to protect you whilst you’re alive, and your family and assets once you’re gone.

The first step is to talk through your situation and needs. We’re a friendly team, and we’re proud to have been protecting our local community for 30 years. By default the law isn’t always on your side – but with our help, it will be.

What is Estate Planning and why do you need it?

To us, Estate Planning is the overarching term which represents everything we do to protect our clients. It’s a holistic approach to organising your estate and your future, so you can be confident that you and your family will be looked after. Although some clients do need help in a specific area, many are looking to get everything arranged in one go. This is where Estate Planning comes in. We’ll also help you prepare for your own needs in later life, such as living expenses and care costs, and we may look at gifts and other best practices to reduce inheritance tax liabilities.

The first thing we’ll do is discuss your situation and needs. Then we’ll make a detailed plan which may involve:

  • Assessing and organising your estate, and making provisions for your future needs
  • Writing or updating your Will and appointing executors to protect your family and assets.
  • Making Lasting Power of Attorneys to ensure you can always be looked after by people you trust.
